Physical, Occupational, & Speech Therapy

We offer short-term physical, occupational, and speech therapy to address every aspect of rehabilitation, from walking with confidence to speaking clearly. This team specializes in helping patients recover from things like joint replacement, cardiac events, and stroke. Together, they help patients build strength, skills, and confidence to return to their highest level of function.

Respiratory Therapy

Treatment for individuals who have trouble breathing or those with respiratory-associated illnesses such as asthma, pneumonia, emphysema, bronchitis, and sleep apnea. Services may include oxygen, nebulized breathing treatments, ventilatory assistance, airway management, and more.

Restorative Nursing Program

Our restorative program aims to maximize the quality of life for our long-term care residents. The restoration team follows individualized treatment plans that help residents with ambulation, range of motion, and activities of daily living. Other services may include:

  • Position and alignment
  • Skin integrity and wound management
  • Contracture management
  • Bowel and bladder training
  • Rehabilitative and social dining
  • Strengthening and restraint reduction
  • Weekly and monthly height and weight monitoring

Pain Management

Pain can delay rehabilitation progress. We use medication and other pain management techniques to make our patients as comfortable as possible so they can participate in and benefit from therapy. We also provide education and resources patients will need to successfully manage pain when they return home.

Dietary Program

Our registered dietitian follows physician orders to create meals that meet the specific dietary and therapeutic needs of our patients. Our team will also conduct regular nutritional assessments to ensure meals meet residents’ changing needs.

Activities

A positive and uplifting atmosphere filled with opportunities to socialize and be active can speed up a patient’s road to recovery. We are proud to offer a gentle daily schedule to keep residents as active and social as they want to be. We always welcome friends and family to visit and attend our special events. Activities may include:

Social Services

Our social service team assists patients and families during transitional periods, such as preparing for discharge. We also provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, and arrange for professional services. Services may include:

  • Dental, vision, audiology, and podiatry
  • Dementia assessment
  • Psychosocial and psychiatric evaluation
  • Individual therapy
  • Transportation to appointments
  • Accompanying resident to appointments upon request
  • Establishing a Power of Attorney

Complex Wound Care

Our wound care program utilizes professional, clinical, and technical resources designed for the treatment of a variety of wound conditions including ostomies (colostomy/urostomy), wound separation, diabetic arterial/venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, and pre- and post-flap surgery.

Diabetes Care

Our experienced nurses provide help with all aspects of managing diabetes including blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration and tracking, exercise planning, menu planning, and education.
